Bedford Township Municipal Authority plans to flush hydrants in part of the township next week.

The authority said, weather permitting, hydrants will be flushed in the Business 220 and Imlertown Area water distribution system, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday April 22 through Friday, April 26. The area includes Chalybeate Road, Briar Valley Road, Imlertown Road, Imlertown area, and Business Route 220. Customers may temporarily experience cloudy water and a slight fluctuation in pressure when hydrants are flushed. Residents are reminded to be respectful for the safety of authority employees and cautious of their service vehicles while they perform this annual system maintenance.
