SAXTON — Despite have a 33-14 lead at the half, Tussey Mountain needed a big fourth quarter to hold off McConnellsburg, 66-58, Wednesday.

McConnellsburg outscored the host, 29-13, to cut Tussey lead to three, but the Titans outscored the Spartans, 20-15, in the final quarter to secure the win.

Matt Leonard had the big game for the Titans with 26 points, while Dawson Rightenour added 18.

Tussey will host Everett on Friday.

FISHERTOWN — Chestnut Ridge jumped out to big first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 59-46 home victory over Cambria Heights, Wednesday.

The Lions grabbed a 14-8 after the first quarter and led 40-30 after three quarters.

Logan Pfister led the Lions with 14 points, while Matt Whysong and Noah Hillegass had 12 and 11, respectively.

Ridge is at Somerset on Friday.

CLAYSBURG — Southern Fulton had a big second half to break a 20-20 halftime tie in a 57-46 victory, Wednesday.

The Indians outscored the Bulldogs, 37-26, in the second half to get the non-division win.

Kyle Glass led the Bulldogs with 18 points, while Parker Dibert had 12.

The Bulldogs hit nine threes in the game.

Claysburg will play at Mount Union on Friday.
