Bishop Guiloyle ‘s volleyball team rallied from a game down to capture the final three games to topple Bedford 28-30, 25-16, 25-19, 25-15, in a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference game, Tuesday.

Hannah Lafferty had 14 digs, Riley Stahlman had 10 kills, and Raquel Imler had 16 assists for the Lady Bisons.

Bedford will host Windber on Wednesday.

Greater Johnstown 3, Chestnut Ridge 2

JOHNSTOWN — Greater Johnstown held off Chestnut Ridge in five games, 19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 17-25, 15-12, for a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference volleyball victory, Tuesday.

“Overall it was a better match than last night against Bishop Caroll,” said Chestnut Ridge head coach Tina Domonkos. “We are still struggling with some growing pains, adjusting to being a team, and working with each other. I have confidence that this will come with time.”

Chestnut Ridge is at Forest Hills on Thursday.

Ridge’s JV team topped Johnstown, 3-0.

Glendale 3,

Claysburg-Kimmel 1

FLINTON — Glendale took the first games and gave Claysburg’s volleyball squad its first loss of the year in a 25-21, 25-12, 19-25, 25-20 victory, Tuesday night.

Megan Hartman had 15 service points for Claysburg.

The Lady Bulldogs will host West Branch on Thursday.
