CLAYSBURG — Claysburg’s Emily Claar had 24 points and Megan Hartman added 18 to help the Lady Bulldogs get past Moshannon Valley, 66-59, Saturday.

The Damsels held an 11-10 lead after one quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs outscored Mo Valley, 40-27, over the next two quarters to take a big lead.

Rebekah Claar also added 15 points for Claysburg.

THREE SPRINGS — Everett grabbed a big lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 58-20 ICC South victory over Southern Huntingdon, Saturday.

Everett had a 26-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 44-8 lead at the half.

Kaitlyn Maxwell led the Lady Warriors with 14 points as well as seven assists and four steals, while Brooke Colledge added 10 points.

“We were very balanced in the scoring column tonight,” said Everett coach Keith Moyer.

JOHNSTOWN — Bedford had to rally from a nine-point first quarter deficit to knock off LHAC foe Greater Johnstown, 40-34, Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Bisons trailed, 23-16, at the half, but they outscored the Lady Trojans, 24-11, in the second half.

Bedford’s Lindsay Shuke scored 10 of her team-high 15 points in the second half to lead the Lady Bisons.

On Friday night, the Lady Bisons fell to Cambria Heights, 52-44, on the road.

Shuke had 22 of the 44 points for Bedford.

WARFORDSBURG — Southern Fulton pulled away from a close game with a 37-21 advantage in the second half in a 65-48 win over Claysburg-Kimmel, Saturday.

Southern had a 15-2 lead after the first quarter, but Claysburg cut the deficit to 28-27 at the half.

Kyle Glass led Claysburg with 16 points.
