Robots on display at Bedford Elementary

Once again, robots have invaded the halls at Bedford Elementary. As part of an extension activity that coincides with the reading of the story "Pearl and Wagner: Two Good Friends" by Kate McMullan, second grade students were tasked to make their own robots. Without buying any new material, students used both ordinary and not so ordinary household items, along with their imaginations, to make some impressive creations. The activity encourages students to use their imaginations, recycle materials, and to work cooperatively. Many of the robots walk, light up, and move in many different ways.
