Zola M. Wallace, 79, of Wallace Road, Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 16, 1942, in Reedsville, a daughter of the late Fred and Fern (Dolt) Kline. On May 17, 1960, she was united in marriage to Norwood “Wally” R. Wallace. He preceded her in death by March 11, 2015.

She is survived by children: Rose, married to Duwaine Smith, Hopewell; LeRoy Wallace, married to Jill, Breezewood; Kyler Wallace, New Paris; Tammy, married to Troy Hartz, Hopewell; and Bonnie, married to David Lemin, Fishertown; daughter-in-law, Dawn Wallace, N.J.; 12 grandchildren: Lucille Wallace, Andrew Smith, Jennifer Snyder, Jeremy and Kevin College, Lawrence and Joshua College, Kylee Kendall, Dalton Lemin, Sean, Brian and Nick Currier; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lucille Urias and Cathy Harding; and a brother, Tom Kline.

She was preceded in death by a son: James R. Wallace, infant daughter: Sherry Diane and siblings Jean Brode, Donald “Bud” Kline and William “Bill” Kline.

Zola enjoyed her annual beach trips and spending time with grandchildren and family.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Akers Funeral Chapel.

Family and friends may call at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be held in Langdondale Cemetery.

If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Wallace to the Akers Funeral Chapel to assist family with final expenses. Online condolences may be expressed at www.akersfuneralchapel.com.
