P. Kern Clair, 81, of Osterburg, passed away on Jan. 24, 2019 at home.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1938, in Imler; son of the late Percy and Freda (Barclay) Clair.

On Sept. 13, 1963, he married Audrey (Deffibaugh) Clair, who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Audrey; and brother, Freemont Clair.

He is survived by his children, Percy Clair; Tracie and husband, Donnie McMullen; and Kevin Clair; four grandchildren, Logan and Nolan Clair; Dane and Kendall McMullen.

Kern was a member of the American Legion Bedford Post 113. He also served in the Army Reserves during the Korean War Era. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at the J.
