In 1957, she was united in marriage with the love of her life Fred A. Batzel at the Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. David Bomboy.

Along with her husband of sixty-two years, she is survived by son, Mark Batzel, of Florida, daughter, Lori Troutman, married to DJ and grandson, Drake Troutman.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, however she was blessed to have married into a loving family in which she shared brothers and sisters and a special niece, Connie Cragan.

She was a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Everett where she played the pipe organ starting in 1953. She was a member of the choir, taught Sunday school and a part of the Altar Guild. She was a current member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Bedford.

During her life, she and her husband enjoyed attending Penn State football for many years, spending time at the beach, and traveling with friends. She loved attending her grandson Drake’s sporting events, and never missing a night at the dirt track watching Drake and son-in-law DJ racing.

She was a loving wife, mother, and most of all a friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
