Mary Louise (Corley) Smith 92, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, in Redstone Highlands, Murrysville.

She was born Oct. 24, 1926, in Buffalo Mills, the daughter of the late John E. and Irene (Adams) Corley, of Hyndman. Mary Louise graduated from Hyndman High School and Catherman’s Business School. After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper for the Hyndman Electric Company. Mary Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her most precious moments were those spent with her beloved family. She enjoyed meals out with her family and watching Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Frank Anthony Smith. Mary Louise will be dearly missed by her loving family, her devoted children, Elaine Miscik and her husband, Tom; Nancy Smith and her partner, Debbie Szajna; Luann Shutt and her husband, Adam; Franklin Smith and his wife, Jodi; and Kevin Smith. Mary Louise treasured her grandchildren, Erin, Lori, Ross, Ryan, and Meghan; and great-grandchildren, Autumn, Ben, Corina, Evelyn, Harrison, Nico and Leo, all of whom will especially miss her.

Respecting the family’s wishes, visitation, services and interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, will be private. For the last ten years of her life, Mary Louise enjoyed living at Redstone’s Murrysville campus. Her children sincerely thank the staff for their exceptional kindness, care and support.
