Six Mile Run

Mark Duane Foore, 58, of Six Mile Run, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Born in Bedford on Nov. 9, 1960, he was a son of John Duane and Sandra Lucille (Foor) Foore who both survive in Defiance.

Along with his parents he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol (Lemin) Foore; daughters, Jessica Reffner, wife of John, Rebecca Stevenson, wife of Marcus; son, Michael Brown; sister, Jodie Mitchell, wife of Richard; sister-in-laws, Jackie Lemin, widower of William, Cathy Gambol, wife of Steve; grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Erica Duvall, wife of Matthew, Rachel, Karissa and Teleshia Reffener, Markus Foore, Bryce and Quinnton Stevenson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Foore; brother-in-laws, William and Chris Lemin and his father-in-law, Owen Lemin.

He was a self-employed logger operating Foore’s Logging, a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School, was in the National Guard, and was a believer in God. His passion in life was singing and playing guitar.

Friends will be received on Sunday, Feb. 10, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. A private family graveside service will be held at the Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run. The family has requested that no flowers be sent and any memorial contributions be sent to the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. P.O. Box 214, Broad Top City, PA 16621.
