Schellsburg

Margaret A. “Peggy” Roadman, 84, of Schellsburg, died Saturday, January 11, 2020, at her residence.

She was born on March 25, 1935, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Jacob L. and Irene V. (Lever) Errett.

On October 20, 1956, in Greensburg she married Donald N. Roadman who preceded her in death on October 2, 2002.

She is survived by two sons, Brad L. Roadman and wife, Terri, of Schellsburg, and Todd N. Roadman and wife, Susan, of Bedford; four grandchildren: Hilary Roadman, of Bedford, Catie Roadman, of York, Mallory Pactman and husband, Brian, of Bedford, and Nate Roadman, of Cincinnati, OH; close friend, Cheryl Stahl, and her cat, Kittie.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Isaac Errett, widow Nancy of Pipestone, MT.

Peggy was a 1953 graduate of Greensburg High School. She enjoyed shopping, was an avid skier, and a member of the Bedford Garden Club. Peggy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and affiliated with Yeager Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, with Rev. Raymond E. Short, Rev. Jenny Barnes, and Rev. David Weinhold officiating. Burial at Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m., at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, and from 9:30 a.m, until the hour of the service at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions in Peggy’s name to: Trinity Lutheran Church, 106 W.
