Kitty Heinle of Manns Choice passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born June 3, 1953, in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Travis and Kathleen Barham. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zeke Wolter.
She is survived by her husband, Denny Heinle, nine children, her brother, and 12 grandchildren.
She graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro in 1976. She married Denny Heinle in 1978 and they moved 15 times in his Marine Corps career, retiring in Manns Choice in 1994. They have been involved with Officers Christian Fellowship and White Sulphur Springs Conference Center since then, and Kitty was a very active volunteer and served whenever she was needed. She spent most of her time as a wife and mother homeschooling her kids and providing a home, as well as opening the door with hospitality for anyone who needed it. She was a devout follower of Jesus and her life was marked by service and love to others. She will be very missed.
A private memorial service will be held the end of June.
