John DeHaven Anderson, 72, of Centerville, died Friday, July 16, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on July 6, 1949, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Albert L. and Margaret (Pickrel) Anderson.

On May 11, 2005, in Gatlinburg, Tenn., he married Patricia (Jordan) Anderson, who survives along with three daughters: Charity Gallagher, widow Earl, of Middletown; Gwen Grady and husband, Stephen, of Delaware; and Lucinda Anderson and fiancé, Chris Bouchard, of Cape Carol, Fla.; two granddaughters: Monica Flinn and fiancée, Kristi, and Britni Yostin; one grandson, John Stillman; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Mia; one sister, Kate Schmidt, and husband, Bob; and one sister-in-law, Nancy McVey, and husband, George, of West Chester.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Anderson, and one sister, Molly Anderson.

John retired in 2012 after 44 years of driving truck for Pepperidge Farms. He was a member of the Southern Cove Power Reunion, Horseshoe Curve Motorcycle Club, and enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing.
