Helen L. LaDouceur, 75, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020.

She was born Wednesday, August 30, 1944, in Roaring Springs, and is survived by her daughter, Heather Oeser and husband, Brian Oeser, of Alum Bank, three grandchildren, Breana Oeser, Dominick Oeser and Kira Oeser, and a sister-in-law, Annajean Finnegan of Claysburg.

She was preceded in passing away by her companion of 32 years, Donald Tressler, a brother, Charles and a sister, Dolly.

After graduating high school, Helen first worked at Cove Shoe Factory in Martinsburg, and then as an assembler at Cannondale. She later worked as an assembler of battery packs at Cell-Con in Bedford until retiring.

At home she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing Yahtzee and shopping with her daughter, and was truly content enjoying the peace and quiet of home and family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Pastor Patrick Traxler officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service and share memories online at

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
