Bedford County Pink Ribbon fundraiser is Saturday.

The Bedford County Pink Ribbon Fund will hosts its annual run and walk Oct. 16. Registration for the 8 a.m. run will begin at 7:30 a.m., and registration for the 10 a.m. walk will begin at 9 a.m. Both the walk and the run will begin at the Bedford Middle School. Cost to register is $15. People unable to walk or run can participate in the Rock-A-Thon on the porch of the Fort Bedford Inn from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Everett Free Library technology services will be limited.

The library will not have phone, internet, fax, copy, or computer services available on Monday and no computer services on Tuesday due to scheduled technology upgrades.

Hydrants will be flushed.

Weather permitting, the Everett Municipal Authority will flush hydrants within Everett Borough, starting on Monday, Oct. 18. Customers may see discolored water that can stain clothes if used in laundry washers. Check first and let the water run until it clears before filling clothes washers.

Blood drive planned.

Blood collection will be held Monday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Missionary Alliance Church along Lincoln Highway in Snake Spring Township, across from Sheetz. People can sign up online with rapid pass. Cupcakes and apple cider provided. All blood types appreciated. The event is in memory of Carol Stoltzfus, a Bedford County resident who died of cancer in 2015.
