More of the Chamber of Commerce’s Drive-In lineup has been announced.
The Chamber previously announced that “The Wizard of Oz” would be shown on July 11 and “Goonies” on July 18. The Nicholas Cage historical thriller “National Treasure” will open the Chamber’s series on July 4, and “The Lion King” will be shown on July 25. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, which may be accessed through the chamber’s homepage, BedfordCountyChamber.com. Tickets are $5, plus a small processing charge, for those 10 and up. Children under age 9 will be admitted free.
PennDOT has extended some expiration dates because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Expirations for driver licenses, identification cards and learner’s permits that were set to expire from March 16 and later have been extended through July 31. A camera card is considered a driver’s license, so it is covered by the same terms and conditions extending other driver’s license products. Previous extensions that will not be further extended include vehicle registrations of all classes, and safety and emissions inspections and disability placards that were scheduled to expire from March 16 through June 30.
Bedford Elks Lodge 1707 will hold its annual member chicken barbecue on July 4.
The picnic starts at noon. Those attending must have their membership dues up to date. Immediate family members are welcome. Seating arrangements will be expanded to comply with proper social distancing guidelines.
