Faith Bible Institute will host a class on “How to Share Your Faith Without Fear” at Foundations Christian Academy from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays in February. The class will focus on 2 Corinthians 4:16-5:21 and will explore the mission, ministry, motives, method and message of what Paul referred to as each believer being an ambassador for Christ.

Third Annual Chili Cook-Off will be hosted by St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 175 Graybill Road, Osterburg, from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 23. Admission will be $6 for 13 years and older, $4 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. Cost covers sampling of all entries, water and cornbread. There also will be a basket raffle and bake sale.

Valentine banquet will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Everett United Methodist Church, 221 E. Main St. The menu will include lasagna, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. “Where’s Your Hope,” a Christian Women’s Retreat at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, near Fishertown, March 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Featured speakers are Cyndi Bulger from Everett, who teaches a Bible study she wrote and had published in 2017, and Carol Deremer, a Bedford County native, author of three Christian books, and an experienced communicator. Family Fun Night will be held at Time Ministries Church, 5202 Business 220, Bedford, on the last Friday of each month. The evening will start with indoor archery from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by other activities, including basketball, volleyball, foosball, air hockey, four square, bounce house, ping pong, badminton, dodge ball, billiards and more. Activities will vary. There will be snacks and coffee. Admission is free. Strawberry orders will be taken by the Everett Seventh-Day Adventist Church until Feb. 26. The cost for a full-flat of eight one-quart clear plastic containers is $25 and half-flats of four-quart clear plastic containers is $13. A minimum of 20 flats is needed to place the orders. “Arise Together in Christ” program will be hosted by St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford. The program provides an opportunity for people to encounter Christ through scripture reading, small faith sharing groups and prayer. Participants can grown stronger in their relationships with Christ and faith and can help make the parish and community stronger, organizers said. One Guy’s Outrageous, Risk-It-All Adventure to Get the Girl,” which includes a film featuring Ryan Leak, whose girlfriend, Amanda Roman, once said she wanted to get engaged and married on the same day, will be the topic of discussion at the Lifetree Cafe from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Faith United Methodist Church, 133 Main St., Woodbury. Ryan secretly invited 100 of their friends and family to fly to Miami to witness their wedding — before he’d proposed.

“Encountering HIM Night” will be hosted by the Manns Choice Church of God, 6150 Allegheny Road, Manns Choice, at 7 p.m. Feb. 10. The night features prayer and worship. Pastor Johnny Bayush and friends will serve as the special guest worship team.

Free Valentine Breakfast will be served at the Weyant United Methodist Church on Feb. 10 at 9:45 a.m. The church’s worship service will begin at 8:45 a.m. and will be followed by the breakfast. Eighth Annual Valentine’s Chocolate Festival will be held at Time Ministries Church at 7 p.m. Feb. 13. The evening will include games, prizes and all kinds of chocolate treats and desserts.
