Vietnam exhibit to open Oct. 30

Local Vietnam veterans gather to prepare for the annual Vietnam exhibit at the Bedford County Historical Society that begins Oct. 30 and continues through Nov. 3. The Bedford County Historical Society will once again host Bedford County’s Vietnam veterans for an exhibit Wednesday, Oct. 30, through Sunday, Nov. 3.

The hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.

On exhibit will be medals, uniforms, photographs, and various memorabilia of local veterans. There will be several members of the Bedford County Vietnam Veterans Association on hand to speak with visitors.

The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Hall at Kinton’s Knob (BCHS, 2nd floor), 6441 Lincoln Hwy, Bedford.
