A fund has been established to help a St. Clairsville-area fire victim.

The fund was set up to assist Donna Kinsey, who lost her barn to a fire Oct. 4. Those wishing to help may make a donation at any National Bank of the Commonwealth branch and mention it is for the Donna Kinsey relief fund.

Bedford County Pink Ribbon fundraiser is Saturday.

The Bedford County Pink Ribbon Fund will hosts its annual run and walk Oct. 16. Registration for the 8 a.m. run will begin at 7:30 a.m., and registration for the 10 a.m. walk will begin at 9 a.m. Both the walk and the run will begin at the Bedford Middle School. Cost to register is $15. People unable to walk or run can participate in the Rock-A-Thon on the porch of the Fort Bedford Inn from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Road closure announced.

Bedford Township will close portions of Rabbit Lane periodically throughout the day on Thursday, Oct. 14, starting at 7 a.m. until paving is completed.

Trick or Treat Night set.

Everett Borough will have Trick or Treat on Oct. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Downtown Bedford Inc.’s Costume Promenade is returning.

The annual event, not held last year because of the COVID pandemic, will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, beginning at 10 a.m. Children 12 and younger can visit and gather candy from many downtown Bedford merchants. The line forms at the DBI office, 124 S. Juliana St.
