Everett hydrants will be flushed.

The Everett Municipal Authority will flush hydrants within the limits of the Everett Borough and along West St. starting on Monday, May 16, weather permitting. Customers may see discolored water that can stain clothes if used in laundry washers. Check first and let the water run until it clears before filling clothes washers.

Bedford hydrants will be flushed.

The Bedford Municipal Authority will use fire hydrants to flush its water distribution system in the high service area, including south and southwestern parts of the borough and adjacent part of Bedford Township, as well as along Chalybeate Road and Sunnyside Road from 3 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 16, through Friday, May 20, weather permitting. Most customers will experience sporadic periods of discolored water and those located in higher elevations may also notice temporary reductions in pressure. The public will be advised, through media releases, of any alterations in the flushing schedule.
