Young at Heart Games organizers have released the schedule of events for this year’s event.

The games will open at 10:30 a.m. April 29 with a ceremony at the Bedford Moose Lodge.

The schedule of events for the games, slated for weekdays from April 30 through May 17, include:

April 30 — 8 a.m., Bedford Moose Lodge, women’s ages 73 and older shuffleboard, women ages 50 to 72 billiards and men’s darts;

May 1 — 8 a.m., Bedford Moose Lodge, women’s ages 50-72 shuffleboard, women’s 73 and older darts and men’s billiards;

May 2 — 8 a.m., Bedford Moose Lodge, women’s 73 and older billiards, women’s 50-72 darts and men’s shuffleboard;

May 3 — 9 a.m., Everett Little League Field, women’s and men’s bocce;

May 6 — 9 a.m., Friendship Village, women’s outdoor shuffleboard;

May 6 — 10 a.m., Friendship Village, men’s horseshoes;

May 7 — 9 a.m., Friendship Village, men’s shuffleboard;

May 7 — 10 a.m., women’s horseshoes;

May 8 — 8 a.m., Down River Golf Course, golf scramble, with putting contest after lunch;

May 9 — 9 a.m., Bedford Fairgrounds Exhibit Building, women’s and men’s baggo;

May 9 — 11:30 a.m., Bedford Fairgrounds Exhibit Building, softball and football throw;

May 13 — 9 a.m., Bedford Moose, 500 bid card game;

May 14 — 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Bedford Elks, singles bowling;

May 14 — 7 p.m., Bedford Elks, no tap bowling;

May 15 — 9 a.m., Friendship Village, one-mile walk;

May 15 — 3 p.m., Bedford Elks, doubles bowling;

May 16 — 9 a.m., Bedford Moose Lodge, Texas Hold ‘Em Card Tournament;

May 17 — 9 a.m., Snake Spring Recreation Park, 9 a.m., softball game;

May 17 — 1 p.m., Snake Spring Recreation Park, Home Run Derby.

The closing luncheon will be held at 10:30 a.m. May 29 at the Alum Bank Fire Hall.

Organizers said an introduction to the “Whodunit” theme will be offered at the opening ceremony. Information on how to play the theme game and a list of suspects will be handed out at the opening ceremony.

People with special dietary needs are asked to bring their own food to the events.

Participants are reminded to bring lawn chairs and sun protection to the bocce, outdoor shuffleboard, horseshoes, baggy, softball game, home run derby and one-mile walk events.

Results booklets will be distributed to everyone attending the closing luncheon.
