Traffic on Business 220 near the turnpike interchange in Bedford was at a normal level on Tuesday morning. Over 3 million people are expected to hit America’s roadways for the Thanksgiving holiday, with the busiest days for travel being today and Sunday.

Among its more notable traditions, travel for the Thanksgiving holiday continues to be a priority for many Americans.

This year will be no different, despite higher gas prices, with those who choose to hit the roadways to visit family or friends.
