Chestnut Ridge M.S. pupils honored

Chestnut Ridge Middle School has announced its Students of the Month for October. The students are honored through the school’s PRIDE (Positive, Respect, Integrity, Dependable, and Excellence) program, which promotes positive behavior in school. The Bedford County Regional Education Foundation announces scholarships to attend the Allegany College of Maryland Bedford County Campus have been awarded to Lily Eby, Clearville, Bedford Rotary Club Scholarship, Kelly and Larry Myers Scholarship; Tara Feuillet, Breezewood, Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative’s Tuition Assistance Award; Lexus Grubb, Hopewell, Edward and Irene Terpening Memorial Scholarship; Brianna Hickey, Bedford, Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative’s Tuition Assistance Award, New Hope Foundation in memory of Terry Jo Caro and others; Hallie Hillegass, Everett, Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative’s Tuition Assistance Award; Mary Hood, Artemas, Everett Area Alumni Scholarship, Robert D. and Bessie Brantner Sponsler Scholarship; Ryan Kisner, Everett, Mildred Jean Rowan Scholarship, Dr. Jim Snider Scholarship; Lexi Lloyd, Breezewood, Ruth Morris Scholarship; Riley McCoy, Hyndman, Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation; Brady Miller, Bedford, Pay It Forward Scholarship; and Haleigh Murphy, Bedford, Bedford County Human Service Council Scholarship. Through individual and corporate donors to the Bedford County Regional Education Foundation, the Allegany College of Maryland Bedford County Campus offers more than $75,000 in scholarships annually.
