A Buffalo Mills couple are facing rape charges after a teenage boy told state police a woman sexually abused him while her boyfriend held him down.

Brittany N. Sheetz, 24, of Buffalo Mills on Friday was charged with rape, incest of a minor and corruption of minors on allegations she abused a male relative in December at her home on Milligans Cove Road. Her boyfriend, Derek A. Edwards, 36, on Tuesday was charged with related felony conspiracy charges.

State police said the 15-year-old boy reported the alleged abuse at the state police barracks on Jan. 28.

The boy told investigators that Sheetz and Edwards forced him to drink alcohol in a bedroom of the home before Sheetz sexually abused him while Edwards held him down by his shoulders, according to court documents.

Two witnesses allegedly saw the the abuse after going to the home to get the boy, documents said. Police spoke to one of the witnesses and he corroborated the boy’s statements, documents said.

When questioned by police, both Sheetz and Edwards denied the allegations.

Sheetz told police the allegations started coming up after she ended a relationship with another man, documents said. She told police she heard the man was paying the boys to make up the story.

Both Sheetz and Edwards were arraigned by District Judge Tonya Osman and placed in the Bedford County Correctional Facility on $125,000 straight bail. Both have preliminary hearings scheduled for Feb. 20.
