Everett brings ‘Home’ Christmas

Left, Everlee Miller, 2, of Osterburg poses for a picture with Santa at the Everett Free Library Saturday during the Home for Christmas in Everett event. The Everett Area High School Band brought holiday cheer to the annual parade with some holiday tunes as they strolled down Main Street Saturday. Everett celebrated its Hone for Christmas, shutting down Main Street to ring in the holiday season on Small Business Saturday. Activities for the community included the annual Christmas parade with Santa’s arrival, craft areas and an Ugly Sweater Contest. It’s also the beginning of the Business/Home Decorating Contest. Local musicians and churches provided music. The celebration culminated with the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree and a fireworks display. More photos, Page A3.
