Sixth annual Akersville Fall Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15-17. There will be vendors, homemade food and entertainment. The festival’s first-ever auction will begin at 2 p.m. on Oct. 16. Items have been donated for the auction. Country band Biscuits and Gravy will perform from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17, and the gospel music Fellowship Quartet will perform from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Oct. 17. Visitors can expect some changes due to COVID-19 restrictions. The festival is held at 3431 S. Valley Road, Crystal Spring.

Bedford Arts Cooperative’s “Haunted” art exhibition, which can be viewed both in-person at Off Pitt Street Theater Company, 110 W. Halloween Atomic Radio series, “Fall Fright Nights,” will be hosted by Off Pitt Street Theater at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October. The series features different stories each weekend, performed by a rotating cast of 25 actors. Donations to support the arts will be accepted as admission. Attendance is limited in accordance with COVID-19 protocols, and masks worn correctly are required.
