Everett Alumni Association will meet April 16 at Bob Evans Restaurant in Breezewood at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and about 6:15 for a meeting. All alumni are welcome.

Muddy Bloody Run, sponsored by Maxwell Transportation, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. May 19 at Tenley Park in Everett. The course is typically three to five miles through wilderness terrain, which includes obstacles. Participants of all ages and abilities can participate or compete. Proceeds from the run benefit the Everett Area Renaissance Foundation and the Everett Recreation Board and Tenley Park. Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for 17 and under. The race starts at 1 p.m. with a timed heat and untimed heats every half hour until 4 p.m. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time with signed waiver or parental consent form and identification.

Bloody Run Canoe & Kayak Classic Race and Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 27 along South Street in Everett. There will be a five-mile event in which participants can compete or fun float from Lutzville to downtown Everett. Participants must register the morning of the race from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Union Hotel. Cost will be $20 for one-person boats or $40 two-person boats. Racers will be shuttled to the starting line by 11:30 a.m., and a race award presentation will follow at the finish. The festival will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with food and craft vendors and activities lining South Street. There will be a classic car cruise-in, a Flop the Block Walk at 1 p.m., the annual Rubber Ducky Race, with duckies available at Pinkies and at the fest on the day of the event, at 2 p.m., music by a disc jockey, an adult refreshment tent and more. The Great Eastern Arts Fest will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. June 1 at Everett’s Tenley Park. The event is free. The Everett Rec Board provides a day full of artists and crafters with demonstrations and art activities and live music in the “Glen.” Vendors and artists can contact the board for a registration form at tenleypark@yahoo.com or message Tenley Park on Facebook. The Everett Area Fund provides adult refreshments and small games.

Everett Free Library’s Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday.

VFW Post 2088 in Everett meets on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 652-2411. The canteen is open seven days a week, starting at noon.
