Bloody Run Historical Society volunteer Barb Miller brings the new year in with a salute to Christmas past with her Everett Free Library historical display for January and February. Featured in the exhibit are handmade and homemade holiday greetings from her personal collection. It is titled “When you care enough, you make it yourself” and features a number of local residents. Everett VFW Post 2088 will host bingo nights every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The games are open to the public, however people must sign in. The post will have a limited menu and only allow 115 people will be admitted. People may make reservations at 652-2144. Cost will be $1 per card for regular games and $5 per card for black outs. The club will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. The new hours for the club will be from noon until 10 p.m.
