Southampton Historical Society will host its annual picnic and hike on Oct. 18 at Sweet Root Park. The picnic will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the hike at 2 p.m. Food will be available for a donation to the historical society. All donations will go toward the Point Pleasant Renovation Project. Bedford Rotary Club will serve its annual pork and sauerkraut dinner takeout and drive-thru style at the Bedford American Legion Post 113 from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2. The menu includes pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, sides, roll and butter and a dessert. All meals are $10.
