A Wells Tannery motorist was arrested for driving under the influence recently in West Providence Township.

State police responded to 2004 W. Graceville Road, Feb. 7, about 4:40 a.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Police determined Landon College, 30, was the operator of the 2006 Ford and was under the influence of alcohol.

An Everett woman was scammed recently.

According to state police, the 65-year-old woman was tricked into sending cellphones and money to Egypt by an unknown male. She sent $2,450 in U.S. currently and $1,320 worth of flip phones, police said. The incidents occurred Feb. 8.

An Osterburg man was charged with harassment following a Sunday incident on South Imler Valley Road, King Township.

A verbal altercation occurred between a wife and her husband, state police reported. The argument began about 2:40 p.m. after the wife left hotdog buns in their vehicle and the husband had to walk to the vehicle to get them, police said. When he returned to the house, the husband allegedly struck his wife with an open hand to the back of her head.
