Thought: When it comes down to it the only person you have the ability to change is you. Are you always concerned about making sure you tell the truth? Remember, honesty is always the right choice, it brings wisdom and truth to situations. Also, it brings and keeps peace alive in your own heart and mind so that you can sleep in peace.

Scripture: An honest witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies. The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning. Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips. The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception. Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright. Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy. Proverbs 14:5-10

Prayer: Almighty God, I ask You to help me as search my heart and soul. Show me if there is any lack of truthfulness in the words I have spoken or as I communicate daily. Help my words to bring wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to others plus purity to my own heart and mind. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
