Thought: Make this Christmas a time to forget . . . forget all the wrongs, injustices and misunderstandings that have been done unto you and forgive those who have trespassed against you. Don’t ever allow unforgiveness to ruin the precious times that could be spent with family and friends. It’s just not worth it to harbor unforgiveness in your heart, the person it will hurt the most is you.

Scripture: Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:21-22

Prayer: Dear God, I thank You for sending me this reminder today about forgiveness. Help me to search my heart today and extend forgiveness to those whom I need to forgive, for whatever reason it may be. God take away the bitterness and hurt, replace it with love for that individual nd help me as I take steps to restore the broken relationships I pray. May I always remember that if I expect You, God to forgive my sins, I must learn to extend forgiveness. Give me a pure heart O God I pray, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
